Thank you, City of Boston!

Thank you, City of Boston!

IBA’s Resident Services Program provides health and wellness, social and recreational, and case coordination services to over one thousand residents in Villa Victoria. As one of the few programs in Boston that address the specific needs of the Latinx elders (65+), this program brings a sense of belonging and care to the community.

Our Resident Services Program has been busy organizing various social events and successfully helping residents learn new abilities and manage their finances. Our hard work has caught the attention of many donors without whose support none of this would be possible.

One of the Resident Services Program's main concerns is that the state of Massachusetts has seen the greatest percentage increase in food insecurity in the country due to the pandemic, a 59% increase. The COVID-19 pandemic has only increased these existing food needs, especially in lower-income communities of color.

Thankfully the City of Boston has supported our residents with invaluable assistance in the form of Farmers Market coupons. These coupons are always in high demand among residents and thanks to this very generous donation, we have been able to make a difference in our community by making access to healthy food more affordable.

THANK YOU!

IBA needs your help to provide continued support and assistance to all of our residents. If you are able, please donate HERE and help support our Resident Services Program.
