New England’s longest-running Latino Cultural Celebration.

The tradition lives on and we're kicking off Festival Betances - the longest running Latino cultural festival in New England, with the theme LATINOS SIEMPRE UNIDOS

Las cosas van retomando rumbo, así que celebrémoslo con una sola voz, y esa energía y sentimiento de hermandad que los latinos tenemos. Con el tema “Latinos Siempre Unidos”, este año vamos a darle candela en el Festival Betances el 17 de julio a las 7pm, con Yuba Iré y Oscarito. Enormes artistas representando el talento hispano, y que a todos pondrán de pie gozando con puro ritmo y alegría en el corazón.

Entrégate a la rumba caliente de Yuba Iré quien abrirá este Festival. Con el desgarre de ritmos y percusiones únicos de su “rumba criollizada”, te pondrán a ¡¡¡ya tú sabes!!!

Yuba Iré es un grupo de jóvenes músicos con un innovador estilo musical que, aunque muy original, respeta la tradición y normas rumberas. Este proyecto se ha convertido ya en lo que ellos definen como “un taller folclórico”, que abarca desde la rumba en todas sus variantes, hasta la bomba, la plena y otros ritmos afro-caribeños.

Cerrando con broche de oro, vamos todos a bailar con Oscar Serrano, “Oscarito El Más Loco”, una de nuestras más queridas estrellas del merengue, quien después de estar en el Grupo Manía, ahora nadie lo para como solista. Oscarito se encargará de darnos lo que seguro será ¡pura gozadera!

El Festival se transmitirá GRATIS en vivo por nuestro canal de YouTube y la página de Facebook del Festival.

Things are getting back on track, so let's celebrate together with one voice, and that energy and brotherhood that we Latinx have. With the theme "Latinos Siempre Unidos," (Latinos Always Together) this year, Festival Betances 2021: en Casa will light up your house on July 17th at 7pm with performances by Yuba Iré and Oscarito. These amazing artists, representing Latinx talent, will make everyone stand up and dance to the rhythms of bomba, plena and merengue.

Surrender to the party vibes of Yuba Iré, opening this Festival. With the sounds and percussions of their "rumba criollizada", they will get you going like “ya tú sabes”!

Yuba Iré is a group of young musicians with an innovative musical style that, although very original, respects the rumba tradition and norms. This project has already become what they define as "a folk workshop", which ranges from rumba in all its variations, to bomba, Plena and other Afro-Caribbean rhythms.

Closing with a bang comes Oscar Serrano, “Oscarito El Más Loco,”(the craziest one) one of our most beloved merengue stars. After being in Grupo Manía, now, as a solo artist, nobody can stop him. Oscarito will deliver what will surely be a great time for all!
