Details

This exhibit showcases some of the latest oil paintings and squid, walnut, and sumi ink drawings by Sibyl Senters, a Brookline artist of Puerto Rican heritage. Sibyl’s latest body of work explores the visual metaphors she sees in her painting locations. These works, painted primarily in Provincetown on Cape Cod, explore metaphors of community in family and friendship, in play and work, in emotional and spiritual support, and in nature.

Sibyl’s paintings have been in exhibitions at Ghost Ranch in Abiquiu, New Mexico; the Boston Atheneum, St. Botolph Club in Boston; Radcliffe College, South End Open Studios in Boston, Beacon Hill Art Walk, Boston; in Savannah GA, and Houston TX. Her work is also found in private collections around the world.
