This rare live performance marks the debut of Patricia Zarate’s highly-anticipated jazz album, Violetas. A soulful collection produced by Grammy Winner pianist Danilo Perez, Violetas features prominent jazz musicians, Danilo Perez, Ben Street and Adam Cruz, moving vocals by Colombian singer, Lucia Pulido, and lyrics written by Victor Jara. As the first stop of Patricia Zarate’s international world tour, this is a night you don’t want to miss.

Patricia Zarate Perez Bio

Patricia Zarate Perez, a Chilean born saxophonist is most notably known for her music that is an eclectic mix of jazz improvisation, Latin rhythms, and songwriting. She graduated in 1999 from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Music Therapy, and later completed her Master Degree in Jazz Studies at New York University. She started playing the saxophone at 13 in her native country of Chile and has studied with some of the most well-known jazz musicians, including Jackie McLean and Jerry Bergonzi.
